About us and our editorial approach

Learn why we explain casino ownership, how we separate evidence from assumptions, and what our editorial and commercial approach means for UK readers.

Why does this site exist?

Casino Networks exists to explain the businesses behind casino brands and what their relationships mean for you. Names can obscure those relationships. We want you to understand who runs a service, which policies are shared and which claims need a closer look.

A casino network can describe brands run by one operator, the business responsible for their gambling service. It can also describe brands using a common platform, the software that powers their sites. We explain that distinction because matching designs don’t establish matching ownership.

What can you expect from our explanations?

You can expect the mechanism before the conclusion, with unfamiliar terms explained where they first appear. A licence holder is the business authorised to provide the gambling service. That’s a different role from a brand name, a software supplier or a parent company.

We don’t treat those labels as interchangeable. If a fact can’t be established, the useful answer is to explain what remains unknown and what evidence would settle it. Our proposed rating method sets out the checks needed before any score could be published.

What counts as evidence?

Current primary records and a casino’s own terms can support specific claims, within the limits of what each source actually says. The Gambling Commission public register is a starting point for licence checks. It doesn’t prove a site’s payment speed or the quality of its support.

We distinguish a business’s published promise from a measured result. Reading a withdrawal estimate isn’t the same as making a withdrawal. Our method remains proposed, and this site doesn’t present it as evidence that live testing has happened.

Useful research also states its limits. A finding about one brand doesn’t automatically apply to every brand using the same software. You need to know which brands, dates and terms a comparison covers before relying on its conclusions.

How do commercial links fit into the site?

An affiliate link can earn a publisher commission when you follow it and complete a qualifying action. Any such link should be understood as commercial. It isn’t evidence that a casino is suitable for you, and it doesn’t remove the risk of losses.

Our editorial rule is that payment must not determine a score or suppress an adverse finding. The same evidence requirements apply to every assessment. A commercial relationship can’t fill a research gap, establish a test result or justify an unsupported recommendation.

What should you do when gambling is causing harm?

Use independent support rather than a casino comparison when gambling affects your money, health or relationships. You don’t need a diagnosis to ask for help. Our responsible gambling guide explains limits, self-exclusion, blocking tools and services for you and people close to you.

We provide information, not gambling accounts or treatment. We can’t access your casino balance, stop transactions or arrange an exclusion on your behalf. Contact the relevant operator or support service directly for those actions.
